Frontend Developer – BigCommerce & Adobe Commerce

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with 3‑5 years of experience in BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce to join our multinational ecommerce team. The role is office‑based, day‑shift, and focuses on creating secure, high‑performing storefronts that meet global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive BigCommerce front‑end components that drive smooth shopping journeys.
• Develop and customize Adobe Commerce themes while ensuring performance, accessibility, and brand consistency.
• Translate user stories into detailed front‑end tasks in collaboration with product owners and analysts.
• Optimize page load times and performance metrics through efficient asset, script, style, and caching strategies.
• Integrate front‑end features with APIs and services, working closely with backend teams.
• Conduct unit and functional testing to detect defects early and maintain stable storefronts.
• Review UI designs with UX and visual design teams to ensure intuitive, inclusive layouts.
• Maintain documentation for components, configurations, and deployment steps.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and reduce technical debt.
• Support incident resolution with operations teams and apply secure coding practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in BigCommerce front‑end development.
• Proven experience customizing Adobe Commerce front‑end themes.
• Strong understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and follow secure coding guidelines.
