Electronic Engineer

About the role

RAFI-Group is hiring an Electronic Engineer in Shanghai. The engineer handles the hardware architecture, schematic and PCB design of new products, and takes part in testing, production introduction and mass-production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design the hardware architecture, schematics and PCBs of new products.
• Run circuit simulations and tests, and optimise signal integrity, power integrity and EMC design.
• Take part in product type-testing, production introduction and mass-production support, providing technical solutions.
• Compile technical documents such as schematics, PCB drawings, BOM lists, test reports and maintenance manuals, and keep design change records.
• Coordinate supply chain resources, verify lead times of key components and propose alternatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Measurement and Control Technology or a related major.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electronic product development, hardware design or electronic manufacturing, with full-cycle project experience.
• Willingness to travel on business.
• Plus points: experience in medical, automotive, agricultural machinery, industrial machinery or robotics, and experience with FPGA and DSP development.

Required skills

• Analog and digital circuit design, and familiarity with high-speed signal interfaces.
• EMC/ESD design and rectification, and knowledge of test standards and certification procedures.
• Multilayer PCB design with EDA tools such as Altium Designer and KiCad.
