Data Analytics Analyst/Consultant – AI & Data

About the role

Deloitte Consulting is seeking a Data Analytics Analyst/Consultant to join its AI & Data team in Shenzhen. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver data‑driven solutions that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain data integration, collation, and processing pipelines.
• Use advanced SQL to implement complex business logic, data modelling, and analytical queries.
• Create interactive visualisations and dashboards using tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI or SmartBI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, governance and delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a computer‑related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant project experience in data analytics or consulting.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on development experience in data integration and processing.
• Strong analytical acumen and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficient SQL programming.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and GaussDB (functions, stored procedures).
• Hands‑on experience with data visualisation tools: Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI, SmartBI.
• Data modelling and ETL development.
