About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the end‑to‑end design of a company‑wide digital transformation. The role is based in Guangzhou or Hong Kong and involves re‑architecting monolithic legacy systems into a cloud‑native microservices landscape while ensuring business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Assess legacy systems, identify technical debt and define an incremental transformation roadmap.
• Design cloud‑native, loosely coupled microservices architectures and integration patterns such as strangler‑fig and anti‑corruption layers.
• Lead technology selection, proof‑of‑concepts and adoption of cloud platforms, containers, service meshes and event‑driven solutions.
• Partner with engineering, QA and operations to enforce architecture standards, establish CI/CD pipelines and define observability and incident response processes.
• Communicate architecture decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and mentor teams on best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of software architecture/engineering experience, including 4+ years leading large‑scale legacy modernization projects.
• Deep practical experience decomposing monolithic systems into production‑grade microservices.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, AliCloud, Azure, Tencent Cloud.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Service mesh: Istio, Linkerd.
• API gateways, event streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
• Microservices design, CI/CD, DevOps tooling, domain‑driven design (DDD).
