Consultant Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join HSBC as a Consultant Specialist, focusing on cloud‑based CI/CD automation and infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
• Provision, configure and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Develop deployment scripts and workflows using Ansible and Helm for container orchestration.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise deployments across DEV, UAT and PROD environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA and platform teams to streamline build, test and release processes.
• Implement automated health checks, logging and alerting for deployed services.
• Manage secrets, credentials and access controls securely across environments.
• Support migration and upgrades of applications and infrastructure components.
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure and operational runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit and governance requirements in all deployment activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with GCP, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins and Ansible.
• Proven track record in managing deployments and CI/CD automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
