Construction Supervisor

About the role

As a Construction Supervisor at Exyte you will manage cost, quality, safety and schedule for the installation of process and ancillary equipment in assigned functional areas such as Etch, Diffusion, or similar. You will oversee daily workflow, planning and coordination with adjacent areas, subcontractors and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and enforce EHS activities, stopping unsafe behaviour immediately and reporting to safety managers.
• Ensure installation quality of assigned works and verify that contractors follow approved method statements.
• Organise and attend kick‑off, package, daily coordination, safety site inspection and toolbox meetings.
• Confirm that all required work permits are in place before work starts.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, owners, subcontractors and construction managers to safely and efficiently install process equipment.
• Review submittals and design packages for constructability and safety, providing detailed comments.
• Manage subcontractor pay applications, recommending approvals or disapprovals with justification.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant trade certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management of multi‑story industrial or commercial buildings.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of building/facilities systems.
