Coach Manager

About the role

The Coach Manager will lead training and development initiatives for middle managers and sales staff within a banking environment. This role combines excellent facilitation, product knowledge, and coaching to drive sales performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs covering soft sales skills, product knowledge (deposits, loans, investment, insurance), sales processes, and system usage.
• Assess middle managers against competence standards, identify gaps, and create targeted coaching plans.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Franchise & Distribution, and Business Support teams to develop curricula for manager development.
• Provide tailor‑made seminars and act as a speaker/host when aligned with sales plans.
• Ensure compliance with physical and information security standards.
• Gather and relay customer feedback on new products, services, and sales issues to product teams.
• Implement best practices across the bank in products, sales processes, training, and systems.
• Support portfolio management and improve turnover rates of new staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, business or related fields; CFP qualification is a plus.
• Minimum three years of experience in training and coaching, preferably within banking.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products and operations, with at least three years of relationship‑manager or branch‑operations experience.
