Audit Associate / Senior – Beijing

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Associate or Senior to join our Beijing team. You will work on small to medium sized audit assignments for multinational and listed clients, applying Deloitte's risk‑based audit methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for audit engagements, including planning, execution and reporting.
• Perform audit, accounting and taxation tasks as required, ensuring independence and high‑quality delivery.
• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their expectations and maintaining professional credibility.
• Apply appropriate tools, guidance and methodology, and contribute to risk assessment discussions.
• Develop leadership capabilities such as inspiring teams, driving agility and delivering value.
• Travel as needed to client sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in any discipline, preferably accounting.
• Professional certification (CICPA, HKICPA or other CPA) and preferably Green & Sustainable Finance accreditation.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience in a CPA firm, preferably a Big 4.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and HK GAAP, with IPO‑related experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of audit analytics and visualizations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and bilingual (English/Chinese) skills.
• Mature, proactive, team‑oriented and willing to travel.
