Assistant Training Manager – Fragrance & Beauty (Beijing)

About the role

The Fragrance & Beauty Assistant Training Manager will own regional training solutions, working closely with retail leaders and cross‑functional partners to translate business needs into scalable learning programs. This position plays a key role in elevating client experience, strengthening frontline capabilities, and supporting sustainable growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and continuously optimise retail training solutions covering product knowledge, client experience, selling techniques and operational skills.
• Analyse POS performance data, CSS insights and other metrics to diagnose capability gaps and prioritise training focus.
• Own end‑to‑end planning, customisation, quality tracking and impact measurement for major regional training programmes.
• Govern and improve coaching quality at the point of sale, aligning classroom, digital and on‑site coaching.
• Influence and align Retail Leaders, HR, Digital Learning and HQ partners around training priorities, communicating insights and progress with business context.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail training, learning & development or people‑capability roles, preferably in luxury, beauty, retail or FMCG environments.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and frontline capability requirements.
• Sensitivity to luxury branding and retail operational needs.
• Excellent training and facilitation skills.
