Assembly Engineer – Consumer Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

As an Assembly Engineer you will industrialize new manufacturing processes for consumer‑electronics products and transfer them from development into high‑volume production. You will shape new supply chains and manufacturing models, working with emerging technology areas such as acoustics and optics.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate external assembly suppliers in Asia and act as the primary technical and operational contact for all assembly‑related topics.
• Lead the local assembly team, providing technical consultation on complex packaging and assembly challenges.
• Manage cross‑functional and international teams, serving as the key interface between internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Drive quality, cost and delivery improvements with suppliers, overseeing escalation, problem‑solving and corrective actions.
• Lead strategic initiatives to optimise manufacturing processes, support NPI readiness and build KPI analysis systems.
