APAC IT Director – Regional IT Leadership

About the role

We are looking for an experienced leader to head IT services across the APAC region. The role focuses on delivering world‑class support, operational excellence, and AI‑driven digital workplace experiences for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Translate global IT strategy into local execution and champion APAC employee needs.
• Lead regional site operations, including employee support, onboarding, executive assistance, incident response, and reliability.
• Drive digital transformation using AI, automation, self‑service capabilities, and intelligent workflows.
• Partner with site management, HR, Facilities Services and business leaders to align technology with growth and expansion plans.
• Standardise support models, escalation processes and operational practices across all APAC locations.
• Build, develop and inspire a high‑performing team of managers, engineers and contractors.
• Own vendor and contractor strategies to ensure performance, quality and coverage.
• Use data, metrics and employee insights to continuously optimise service delivery and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Management or equivalent experience.
• 20+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT leadership or large‑scale software engineering (SaaS, digital workplace, AI/ML).
• 8+ years leading geographically distributed teams and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI‑based support models, automation platforms and self‑service technologies.
• Excellent executive communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
• Deep knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow (HR, Security, Finance modules preferred).
