Android Developer (QA Focus)

About the role

Branch is looking for an Android Developer with a strong QA focus to join its mobile engineering team. You will work on the in‑house SDK used by major OEMs, balancing feature development with test automation to deliver reliable, high‑performance Android experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhancements for the Branch Android SDK.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, UI).
• Debug and resolve performance issues using tools such as ADB, Perfetto, and Android Studio Profiler.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of Android development experience, preferably with SDKs, libraries, or frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Robolectric, Espresso) and mocking libraries (Mockito).
• Solid debugging skills using ADB, Perfetto, Android Studio Profiler.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Fluent written and spoken English for daily collaboration with a global team.
