About the role
NXP is looking for a Facility Student Intern for 2027 based in Tianjin. The intern supports the facilities team in monitoring and maintaining equipment and systems, and helps with safety, compliance and reporting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining facility equipment and systems such as HVAC, lighting, water and air compressors
- Support preventive maintenance schedules and record-keeping
- Take part in workplace safety checks and environmental compliance tasks
- Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by the facilities team
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
Required profile
- Student studying a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or another engineering discipline
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure
- Good English; a base in Tianjin is preferred
