Engineering Technician - NPI Support

About the role

NXP is looking for an Engineering Technician in Tianjin (Weiwu) to support new product introduction and product qualification. The role works closely with engineers to run NPI test-floor activities and keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support probe new product introduction and product qualification.
• Work with engineers on product performance improvement.
• Maintain and convert NPI equipment to ensure stable operation.
• Run NPI test-floor activities such as qualification, ATE setup and sample testing.
• Troubleshoot issues during NPI testing and help debug programs so activities stay on schedule.
• Coordinate with global Fab, Assembly and Test teams and BU teams for an efficient supply chain.
• Help monitor and improve project cycle time and overall efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate or college degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in the semiconductor or a related industry; ATE testing knowledge is an advantage.
• Basic spoken and written English.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork spirit, self-motivated and willing to learn.

Required skills

• Ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Able to read and follow technical documents and instructions.
