Team Leader, Quality Lab

About the role

The Quality Lab Team Leader oversees laboratory operations and calibration activities, ensuring experiments and tests are conducted efficiently and results are accurate. This role combines technical expertise in testing and calibration with strong leadership to drive innovation while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize testing requirements, providing clear guidance to test personnel.
• Maintain comprehensive records of qualitative and quantitative test results.
• Develop and implement annual, monthly, and weekly calibration schedules.
• Supervise calibration technicians to ensure all measuring instruments are valid and accurate.
• Collaborate with Quality and Safety departments to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory testers and metrologists.
• Participate in testing activities for new products and projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in laboratory management and calibration.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑quality, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
