Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning and transfer pricing activities for our dedicated China business units. The role involves both external reporting to authorities and internal analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external tax compliance and reporting, including recurring filings, tax operational tasks, and preferential treatment applications.
• Prepare internal tax reporting, forecasts, analyses, and tax provisions for the assigned business units.
• Provide day‑to‑day tax advisory, lead tax planning projects, and manage tax risk for the business units.
• Support post‑acquisition tax integration in M&A projects and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
• Manage routine transfer pricing documentation, conduct TP reviews, and lead ad‑hoc TP benchmark studies.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and handle inquiries or investigations.
• Develop and update tax position papers, SOPs, and internal control procedures; support learning sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, tax or law.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated tax experience, with Big 4 experience required.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or CTA are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using SAP for tax‑related processes.
