Tapas Outlet Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen is seeking a Tapas Outlet Manager to lead its upscale tapas restaurant within the hotel’s Food & Beverage division. The role combines operational oversight, guest experience excellence, and team development in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership, coaching and development to outlet staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Drive revenue, profitability and productivity through strategic planning and resource management.
• Monitor guest feedback, satisfaction metrics and online reputation, implementing continuous improvement actions.
• Ensure operational standards, health & safety compliance and service consistency across all shifts.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Restaurants, Bars and Experiences to achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, scheduling, training and performance management of the outlet team.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar managerial role within hotel or upscale restaurant operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue and cost control.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
