Supply Chain Officer – FAL

About the role

The FAL Supply Chain Officer is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end flow of parts within the Airbus Tianjin Delivery Centre. The role ensures timely delivery, coordinates rework activities, and acts as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage normal‑flow parts delivery and secondary‑flow parts delivery.
• Coordinate timely rework for on‑site suppliers within the NC flow.
• Serve as the interface for supplier coordination issues, contacting suppliers indirectly via Logistic Coordination.
• Maintain direct contact with European supply officers for dedicated scenarios.
• Lead communication on material request issues across all perspectives.
• Oversee the return of flying parts due to non‑conformities.
• Execute supply‑chain and logistics processes and any temporary tasks assigned by management.
• Represent the ACOPIF organization in operational meetings.
• Support supply‑chain improvements and develop local solutions.
• Ensure smooth, end‑to‑end material flow between supply sources and FAL.
• Provide reliable information flow between production and supply sources.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations for material‑flow troubleshooting.
• Train and guide junior team members.
• Manage on‑site supplier support, assess liability, and communicate across OSS, operations, and quality.
• Analyze non‑conformity liability for further investigation.

Required profile

• Strong awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to lead communication and coordinate actions on material‑request issues.
• Experience in training or guiding junior supply‑chain team members.
