Sourcing Manager for Pure Ballast

About the role
The Sourcing Manager PB is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing purchasing activities and ensuring delivery of sourcing objectives for Pure Ballast and related business units.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate and align sub‑commodity strategies across sites.
- Lead the strategy work for Pure Ballast and manage purchasers and purchasing managers.
- Achieve material cost‑reduction targets and improve supply‑related performance.
- Develop plans for new product and supplier sourcing as part of NPD.
- Ensure compliance with global commodity policies, tools and procedures.
Required profile
- Deep understanding of procurement markets, supply chain management and supplier qualification.
- Familiarity with SRM and quality management systems.
- Technical background in marine, power, offshore or related heavy‑industry sectors.
- Business‑oriented, results‑focused and detail‑oriented.
Required skills
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Ability to analyse market trends and develop sourcing strategies.
