Senior/Principal Clinical Pharmacologist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior/Principal Clinical Pharmacologist to lead the application of clinical pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and modelling & simulation across our drug development programs. The role will involve designing and conducting clinical pharmacology studies, analysing data, and supporting regulatory interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct clinical pharmacology studies, including dosing rationales and sampling schemes.
• Perform data analyses and modelling to define dose‑exposure‑response relationships.
• Justify dose recommendations for Asian populations using quantitative approaches.
• Promote and apply modelling & simulation methods throughout clinical development.
• Develop mathematical and statistical models to describe disease mechanisms, progression and PK/PD.
• Conduct meta‑analyses to maximise use of existing data.
• Prepare and defend regulatory submissions and engage in regulatory meetings.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects.
• Conduct literature research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and share knowledge.
• Train and mentor junior clinical pharmacology staff.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD or MD) in a relevant scientific discipline; a master’s degree with strong technical background and proven drug development experience is also acceptable.
• Extensive experience in drug clinical development, covering both early and late phases.
• Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute ideas to internal teams.
