About the role
The Senior Sourcing Specialist at KONE will work closely with the Frontline Sales and product teams to capture the latest market requests and develop category strategies that support the company’s business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with Frontline Sales and product teams to capture latest market requests and align sourcing activities.
- Define and implement category strategies that support KONE’s overall business goals.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and best‑in‑class suppliers.
- Build and maintain supplier matrices, develop strong relationships with key suppliers, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities, drive value‑creation initiatives, and lead continuous‑improvement projects within the category.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, product, operations, R&D, quality, and finance teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs and support new product development and innovation.
