Senior Sales Account Manager – Automotive OEM

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to lead business growth with key automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 customers. You will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, and ensuring successful design‑in of semiconductor solutions across the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 partners such as SAIC, HASCO, DF.
• Own annual sales targets, identify new opportunities, and expand share within existing accounts.
• Promote and design‑in Renesas semiconductor product portfolios, aligning solutions with customer system requirements.
• Drive design‑win pipelines, convert projects to mass production, and manage demand forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Create account strategies, execute sales plans, and monitor competitor landscape to define product positioning.
• Collaborate with product marketing, field application engineers, and distribution partners; lead joint customer visits and technical discussions.
• Coordinate internally to resolve quality, delivery, pricing, and technical support issues.
• Track KPIs, take corrective actions, and ensure alignment between customer demand and supply‑chain execution.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Strong background in automotive semiconductor sales, preferably with China EAST key OEM customers.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor product lines and familiarity with automotive applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
