Senior FPGA Engineer – Medical Imaging Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Advanced FPGA Engineer to design, implement, verify, and maintain FPGA solutions for CT gantry and couch systems, supporting high‑precision motion control and real‑time imaging applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize RTL code using Verilog/VHDL for Xilinx or Intel FPGA platforms, achieving timing closure and resource efficiency.
• Design FPGA‑based motion control algorithms for gantry rotation and couch positioning, ensuring synchronization and real‑time performance.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on board‑level architecture, interface design, hardware bring‑up, integration, and debugging.
• Create simulation environments, verification plans, and conduct functional verification and system validation of FPGA designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of FPGA development experience, including Verilog/VHDL coding and debugging.
• Proficiency with Xilinx or Intel FPGA platforms and associated simulation tools.
• Experience with high‑speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Background in motion control, servo control, industrial automation, medical devices, or robotics.
• Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills and good English communication.
