Associate Director / Senior Manager, Central Market Access

About the role

The Associate Director / Senior Manager for Central Market Access will lead interactions with national health authorities in China, ensuring the company's products are positioned effectively within the National Reimbursement Drug List (NRDL). The role coordinates cross‑functional teams, monitors policy changes, and provides strategic guidance to support market entry and reimbursement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain communication with central government stakeholders, including the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) and related agencies.
• Monitor NRDL adjustment timelines, principles, and policies; drive listing programs and coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and health‑economics experts.
• Track central reimbursement policy developments, especially Max Reimbursement Price reforms, and deliver timely policy reports to support market access strategy.
• Initiate, design, and execute reimbursement policy research projects with professional associations, communicating value recommendations to government.
• Provide policy consultation on central reimbursement matters to support new product and project strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of experience in healthcare market access.
• Extensive experience with NRDL adjustments.
• Strong policy sensitivity and strategic thinking abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
