District Hospital Manager, DB

About the role

The District Hospital Manager, DB will lead the implementation of value‑based purchasing (VBP) and policy access initiatives across provincial and municipal hospitals in Beijing. The role focuses on translating national and regional policies into actionable hospital‑level strategies, while building strong relationships with key decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor provincial and city‑level VBP and policy access regulations and assess their impact on individual hospitals.
• Track the rollout of VBP policies at the hospital level, documenting processes, key drivers and implementation status.
• Identify risks and opportunities, continuously evaluate hospital‑level VBP exposure and prioritize interaction plans.
• Map and engage senior hospital stakeholders, understand their motivations and unmet needs, and design targeted interaction objectives.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with decision‑makers, influence negotiations and co‑create partnership projects.
• Share insights with cross‑functional teams, coordinate regular alignment meetings and monitor execution of interaction plans.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of VBP and policy access frameworks at provincial and hospital levels.
• Strong analytical capability to conduct risk identification, opportunity analysis and priority setting.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management within hospital environments.
• Ability to translate policy insights into concrete client‑facing activities.
