Senior Electrical Engineer – CT

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer – CT will lead the electrical and electronic hardware development of CT subsystems such as the Gantry and Couch. You will be responsible for schematic design, component selection, PCBA layout and motion‑control system integration, ensuring high reliability, safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical and electronic hardware for CT Gantry and Couch, including schematics, component selection, PCBA and motion‑control system design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during concept stages to discuss feasibility and provide technical design solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and design verification for customer or production issues, guaranteeing quality, safety and reliability.
• Work with technical leadership to align deliverables with program goals and business objectives.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, performance and high‑quality product delivery standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of EE hardware development experience, preferably in the medical‑device industry.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• FPGA design and/or servo motion‑control development.
• Analog and digital circuit design with EMC/EMI considerations.
• PCBA design of six‑layer or more boards and familiarity with PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and communication buses: CAN, CANopen, EtherCAT, RS‑232, RS‑485, serial and parallel buses.
• Knowledge of design‑for‑reliability, manufacturing, testing, assembly and cost optimisation.
