Security Operations Engineer (Global)

About the role

Agora is seeking a motivated Security Operations Engineer to join its global security team. In this role you will protect Agora’s real‑time engagement platform and conversational AI services by handling security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and automation across a worldwide infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve security monitoring, detection and incident response for a global business.
• Perform security analysis and detection engineering using SIEM, EDR, WAF and related platforms.
• Support cloud security operations across AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, SRE, IT and business teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 3 years of experience in security operations, incident response, SOC or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience investigating and responding to real‑world security incidents.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK and common attack techniques.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work with international teams.

Required skills

• SIEM, EDR, WAF, SOAR platforms.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Go or Shell.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
