Regional Security and Asset Protection Manager

About the role

The Regional Security and Asset Protection Manager will lead the development and delivery of security training, loss‑prevention programs, and crisis‑management initiatives for Kering’s luxury houses across Greater China. Based in Shanghai, the role involves regular regional travel and close collaboration with brand teams, retail operations, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security training plans tailored to each house’s operational environment, covering conflict management, threat awareness, emergency response and physical security measures.
• Support crisis‑management, business‑continuity and emergency‑response plans for natural or man‑made incidents affecting people, profit and reputation.
• Monitor risk and situational awareness across retail stores, ensuring timely identification, verification and escalation of security incidents.
• Coordinate incident response with local management, Group Security, HR, Legal, Corporate Communications and relevant law‑enforcement agencies.
• Provide loss‑prevention recommendations and physical‑security enhancements for corporate offices and retail locations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of technical security systems, guarding services and physical‑security controls to ensure compliance with Group standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management, risk assessment and incident coordination within a retail or luxury‑goods environment.
• Strong understanding of loss‑prevention strategies, crisis‑management procedures and physical‑security best practices.
• Ability to work across multiple brands, engage with internal stakeholders and external partners, and travel frequently within the region.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable.
