Reliability Engineer – Automotive Products

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Wuxi as a Reliability Engineer, contributing to the development of reliable automotive products such as microelectronics, e‑motors, fuel cells, brakes, and sensors. You will work closely with product development teams to ensure components meet high reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret reliability standards for a wide range of automotive components.
• Plan and design quantitative lifetime acceleration tests targeting specific failure modes.
• Develop test methods, reliability tools, and load profiles for system elements.
• Perform statistical analysis of test data and forecast failure probabilities.
• Conduct failure analysis during testing and collaborate with project managers, product developers, and test engineers to establish testing standards and work instructions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of damage mechanisms such as mechanical fatigue, thermal fatigue, corrosion, and wear.
• Understanding of automotive systems and components, including power modules, inverters, e‑motors, sensors, and related materials.
• Experience in automotive reliability engineering is highly preferred.
