Regional Electrical Safety Expert / Manager (EHS)

About the role

The Regional Electrical Safety Expert/Manager will lead health & safety management and electrical safety governance across Bosch BHC APAC sites. This role drives the implementation of regional EHS programs, compliance, risk management and performance improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System across APAC.
• Develop and coordinate regional safety programs for critical risk areas such as Machine Safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Contractor Safety Management, High‑Risk Work, Fire Safety, Confined Space Entry and Explosion Protection.
• Act as the APAC Operational Electrical Safety Expert, providing technical guidance and governance for electrical safety across the region.
• Maintain the APAC electrical safety network, support site management in nominating and developing Local Electrical Safety Experts, and facilitate technical exchanges.
• Conduct safety audits, assessments and management system reviews, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate safety incidents and near‑misses, perform root‑cause analysis and share lessons learned across APAC locations.
• Deliver safety training, awareness initiatives and technical guidance to strengthen safety competency and culture.
• Monitor regional safety performance, prepare KPI reports and coordinate audits, meetings and emergency preparedness activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent state‑certified qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical safety, occupational health & safety, EHS management or facilities management, preferably in a multi‑site or regional environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety management, ISO 45001, machine safety, LOTO, contractor safety, high‑risk work control, fire safety, confined space safety and explosion protection.
• Proven experience in auditing, risk assessment, incident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and training across APAC locations.
