Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems for an automotive manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer‑specific requirements and drive a culture of quality across all processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems in line with IATF 16949 and customer certifications (e.g., Ford Q1, GM BIQS).
• Define and monitor quality KPIs such as defect rates, scrap, rework and customer complaints.
• Lead root‑cause investigations using tools like 8D, A3, Fishbone, FMEA and statistical analysis.
• Manage internal and external audits, corrective and preventive actions, and supplier quality development.
• Act as primary contact for customer quality issues, handling complaints, returns and corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement through training, coaching and cross‑functional problem‑solving.
• Oversee the information security management process and coordinate internal audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality standards.
• Self‑motivated, cooperative with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English communication.
