About the role

The Test Team Leader will manage the engineering laboratory activities, supporting product development teams in testing generators, lighting towers, and energy storage systems (ESS). The role involves leading a team of test engineers and lab technicians to ensure high‑quality testing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and lead a team of test engineers and lab technicians, treating project teams as internal customers.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, schedule resources, and ensure good housekeeping (e.g., 6S) in stock and test areas.
• Continuously improve lab standards and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project teams on generator, lighting, and ESS design, seeking technical improvements.
• Organize build‑up and testing of machines, components, and systems, and report results to engineering teams.
• Ensure testing follows OHS guidelines and coordinate with SHEQ engineers and managers.

Required profile

• Profound knowledge of genset or ESS testing and willingness to learn new technical areas.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Mandarin native speaker with strong oral and written English skills.

Required skills

• Experience with voltage, current, temperature, engine speed, pressure and other parameter measurements.
• Data acquisition and analysis capability.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with engineering CAT and LMS testing tools (preferred).
