About the role
The Principal Scientist will lead and support FEI innovation activities, driving technical research and open innovation. You will collaborate with G&B teams to translate consumer insights into product roadmaps and create key claims with Marketing and PRC.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support brief investigations, advanced development, technical research and open innovation projects.
- Collaborate with G&B organizations to understand consumer insights, define claim direction and identify innovation topics.
- Generate and analyze IP for innovation activities.
- Work with Marketing & PRC to create propositions and key claims.
Required profile
- PhD in Physics.
- 15+ years of working experience, preferably with a research background.
- Excellent technical communication skills in written and oral English.
- Strong presentation abilities.
- Passionate about innovation, proactive, accountable and high integrity.
Required skills
- Strong IP generation competence.
- Sensing modelling development.
- Data processing.
- Transfer function development.
- Light technology knowledge.
- Beauty product development experience and skin‑benefit knowledge.
- Aerodynamic knowledge.
