Payroll Specialist

About the role

Coloplast is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for its operations in China. The role ensures accurate and timely salary, bonus and benefit payments while supporting tax compliance and employee inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees in China, including salaries, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle monthly individual income tax withholding and assist with annual tax settlements.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners to resolve complex payroll issues, including social insurance and housing fund matters.
• Manage payroll and benefits for dispatched and foreign employees.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of employment contracts and employee movement processes.
• Produce monthly payroll, labor cost, and social insurance reports and work with Finance on cost settlements and reconciliations.
• Support the line manager on compensation and benefits projects and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Finance, English or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of HR experience with a focus on payroll.
• Experience in a foreign‑owned or medium‑to‑large enterprise is preferred, especially with knowledge of expatriate tax exemption policies.
• Detail‑oriented, patient, able to work under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, with a service‑oriented mindset.
