NPD/NPI Project Manager, Industrial Pumps

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) projects for industrial pumps at our Kunshan site. The role will ensure successful development and implementation of pump projects while collaborating with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Industrial Pump project from concept through launch.
• Manage additional NPD projects such as DV‑ST and supplier‑driven initiatives with LYSF.
• Coordinate an international project team, including a Pump Engineer based in Kolding, Denmark.
• Create detailed project plans and drive progress across all activities.
• Ensure implementation tasks in systems, supply chain, and production are planned and executed on time.
• Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Center on readiness and rollout.
• Deliver projects on time, within specification, and on budget, with authority to allocate resources.
• Handle stakeholder management, communication, and reporting to the steering committee.
• Plan and lead steering committee meetings.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Preferred certification such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
• Alfa Laval PROMAL training will be part of onboarding.
• Proven project‑management experience in a related industry.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• More emphasis on NPI experience than NPD.
• 4–5 years of relevant work experience.
