Associate Systems Engineering Lead

About the role

The Systems Engineer – R&D (referred to as Systems Engineer) plays a critical role in defining, implementing, and validating systems (products & services) during new development and product change management. The role collaborates with subsystem teams, product managers, architects, and program managers to ensure technical consistency at system level.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure overall system‑level technical consistency across all subsystems.
• Advise and guide teams on technical risk assessments, corrective actions, simulations, root‑cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Govern non‑critical interfaces and refer critical interfaces to Systems Architecture Management.
• Create and manage system requirements, decompose them to component and subsystem levels, and handle change requests.
• Develop and execute system integration, verification and validation plans, and review component‑level V&V plans.
• Support product road‑maps and portfolio prioritisation by providing system‑level expertise.
