New Product Senior Officer (ESG)

About the role

The job incumbent is responsible for the technical and new product marketing activities related to one or more Business Products in his/her area of responsibility (including Environment/Carbon/Risk management/Financial/Sustainability/ESG projects). He/she performs the job within the BV HSE Management Processes, BV Quality Assurance System, the BV Code of Ethics and relevant Group Policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire new product development process and manage annual product‑related project revenue.
• Ensure compliance of BV China operations with product accreditation rules and support international accreditation management.
• Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies for the related products.
• Collaborate with business units and functional teams for product marketing and business development.
• Share knowledge and information through knowledge‑management activities.
• Develop and maintain team competence and related qualifications.
• Maintain continuous contact and information exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to deliver product‑related services such as training, auditing and inspection.
• Execute daily activities in line with QHSE and other management system requirements.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline relevant to the business.
• 3‑5 years of research or audit experience in fields such as green products, risk management, finance, LCA, social accountability, sustainability or ESG.
• Experience in a Big Four firm, supplier management or data analysis is preferred.
• Recognised expertise in the relevant technical field.
• Excellent communication, business awareness and presentation skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit and good team‑management abilities.
• Fluent English writing skills and proficiency in the local language.
