New Product Officer (LCA)

About the role

The New Product Officer (LCA) is responsible for technical and new product marketing activities related to business products, focusing on life‑cycle assessment, waste management and circular economy. The role operates within Bureau Veritas HSE Management Processes, Quality Assurance System, Code of Ethics and Group Policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the LCA/waste management/circular economy new product development process and manage annual product‑related projects.
• Ensure compliance of BV China operations with product accreditation rules and support international accreditation applications.
• Assist in developing marketing and sales strategies and capabilities for related products.
• Collaborate with business units and functional teams on business development initiatives.
• Share knowledge and information through knowledge‑management activities.
• Maintain relevant competence and qualifications to support business development.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to deliver product‑related services such as training, auditing and inspection.
• Execute daily activities in line with quality, HSE and ISO17021 management system requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (environment or science preferred); Master’s degree required for B4 level.
• At least 2 years of experience in LCA, ESG, sustainability or recyclability.
• Strong technical expertise and proficient English language skills.
• Recognition in the field with EMS/IMS auditor qualification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
