Mobile Development Consultant Specialist

About the role

HSBC is looking for an experienced Mobile Development Consultant Specialist to join the Wealth & Prem Solutions Tech team. You will design, build, and maintain native Android and iOS applications that support core customer journeys and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance mobile features using Kotlin/Java (Android) and Swift (iOS).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, including modularisation, dependency management, design patterns, navigation, and state management.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit and UI) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in production readiness activities, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Document technical designs, runbooks, and operating procedures for audit compliance.
• Share engineering standards and best practices with global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong native mobile development experience on Android and iOS.
• Proven ability to work in agile teams and collaborate across regions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
