Middle School English Teacher

About the role

Teachanywhere is seeking a dedicated Middle School English Teacher to join its newly established campus in Shanghai. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English language instruction to students aged 11‑14 and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned English lessons for middle‑school classes.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate actively in pastoral care and support students’ wellbeing.
• Lead or assist with extracurricular activities and clubs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of post‑qualifying teaching experience.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and school development.
• Willingness to engage in pastoral and extracurricular programmes.
• Previous experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) is an advantage.
