Mechanical Engineer (Grain Division)

About the role

Bühler is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Grain Division in Wuxi. The role involves preparing engineering documentation, ensuring drawing quality, and supporting installation activities for grain processing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare process diagrams, layout and installation plans, detailed construction drawings and complete project documentation according to the Project Manager’s guidelines.
• Review and self‑check the quality of process and detail engineering drawings to meet project standards.
• Apply internal engineering standards effectively in daily work.
• Assist the Project Manager in supporting the Site Installation Manager during installation and start‑up phases.
• Visit the site during installation to correlate drawings with reality and enhance technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or higher in grain processing, mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Professional experience in planning process plants is preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Detail‑oriented while keeping the overall project perspective.
• High initiative for learning new skills and knowledge.
• Open communication style, able to integrate naturally into a team.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel as project demands.
