Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with local and global engineering teams to develop products that meet customer specifications. The role involves designing, validating, documenting, and launching products for production.

Key responsibilities

• Participate as a key member in design projects and perform design verification using analytical and experimental methods.
• Support development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, and production launch activities.
• Collaborate on failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.
• Maintain and release product documentation, including drawings and specifications, in internal systems.
• Interact with customers to gather product specifications, schedule expectations, and budget constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Team‑player able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple competing tasks.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent organization, planning, and time‑management abilities.
• High personal and professional ethical standards and accountability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits.
• Experience with microelectronic assembly.
• Understanding of statistical methods and process control fundamentals.
• Familiarity with product test processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
