Manufacturing Technology Engineer (Industry 4.0)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer you will drive the development and implementation of new manufacturing solutions for brake‑pad production. You will work closely with global R&D, IT and production teams to introduce AI and Industry 4.0 technologies that improve productivity, quality and flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prototype innovative technical solutions for brake‑pad manufacturing, including verification prototypes and feasibility studies.
• Roll out new technologies to next‑generation production lines, integrating machinery, PLCs, CNCs and robots.
• Introduce AI‑based vision systems, manual‑motion monitoring and inspection tools to enhance quality management.
• Collaborate with global R&D and IT teams to pilot emerging technologies such as autonomous mobile robots.
• Implement Factory I4.0 connectivity, linking manufacturing assets to cloud/on‑premise MES platforms.
• Lead the deployment of paperless manufacturing, real‑time dashboards and other Industry 4.0 solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation and lean production.
• Proven experience with Industry 4.0 concepts and MES system applications.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
