Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Assembly (Xi'an)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The role involves assembling, repairing and testing electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic systems that power next‑generation semiconductor chips.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and inspect for defects.
• Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, enter data on progress and labor, and perform computer programming or software installs when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of semiconductor or display manufacturing experience (or comparable industry/military experience).
• Strong English reading and writing skills to understand technical documentation.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely in a cleanroom environment.
