Machining Technician

About the role

Copeland is a global climate‑technology company focused on sustainable HVACR solutions. The Machining Technician will join the manufacturing team to produce high‑quality components for heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve machining programs from the process sheet, set up tools and fixtures, and execute machining operations.
• Inspect and measure machined parts according to drawings and process specifications, and generate inspection reports.
• Record completed parts in the system, label, package, and store them in the designated area.
• Perform regular equipment checks and preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• Provide maintenance recommendations based on equipment condition.
• Report any issues discovered during inspections to the laboratory manager.
• Check equipment status and hand‑over records before each shift and communicate problems to the manager.
• Maintain 5S standards for machining equipment and shared laboratory areas at shift end.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education or higher, preferably in mechanical manufacturing, design, CNC technology, mechatronics or related engineering fields.
• At least one year of experience operating CNC lathes or machining centers.
• Basic ability to read and write English.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
