Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Logistics Technical Support Specialist will support Amazon Web Services China infrastructure by managing the flow of computer hardware parts across multiple data centers. You will ensure that technicians have the components they need while maintaining a safe, organized inventory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, stow, pick, package, ship, sort, and count computer hardware parts.
• Process part requests from technicians and verify inventory availability.
• Monitor logistics dashboards and take actions to meet KPI targets.
• Balance inventory across clusters and regions as required.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to schedule deliveries and resolve shipment issues.
• Manage storage facilities, conduct cycle counts, daily audits, and 7S activities.
• Follow inventory processes for quarantine, media, and critical parts control.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and handle RMA and scrap processes.

Required profile

• Experience handling parts and inventory for data‑center technicians.
• Ability to maintain a safe, neat workplace and follow strict inventory procedures.
• Strong coordination skills with procurement, vendors, and internal teams.
