Logistics Representative – 4PL

About the role

The Logistics Representative – 4PL acts as an extension of the customer’s staff, ensuring smooth flow of supply‑chain information within RMS’s Transportation Management System. You will manage transportation arrangements, support customers from order placement through carrier payment, and drive process improvements using a project‑based delivery model.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange transportation for shipments and monitor the customer load board in the TMS.
• Maintain team mailboxes and manage exception handling according to predefined processes.
• Document and organize standard operating procedures and learn multiple functions within the team.
• Facilitate customer calls, provide proactive updates, and meet operational metrics.
• Conduct CHR system trainings for external customer representatives.
• Reconcile daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Provide fact‑based recommendations to help customers maximize CHR’s value.
• Support peers, identify process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain, transportation or logistics.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel up to 5 % domestically or internationally.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid information‑systems acumen and ability to present to diverse audiences.
