Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead the execution of our global transportation strategy, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective movement of goods across international markets. You will coordinate with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and local vendors to guarantee seamless shipment handling.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the team in implementing global transportation strategies and optimizing logistics operations.
• Oversee collaboration with contracted freight forwarders: obtain quotes, negotiate rates, compare costs, select routes, and plan shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with local vendors to confirm delivery requirements and schedules before cargo loading.
• Monitor preparation and submission of commercial documents to China import/export and global customs authorities within required timeframes.
• Lead vessel booking, on‑site cargo loading, and transportation processes to ensure timely departures and proper handling.
• Develop and implement standardized processes for tracking shipments, documenting activities, and maintaining a unified traceability system.
• Align team responsibilities with direct reports, motivate staff, and ensure goals are met accurately and efficiently.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in international trade, transportation, or customs declaration.
• Proven experience with document review, shipping space booking, commodity inspection, and coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses.
• Strong computer proficiency, high initiative, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.
