Local Site Support (L1 IT Support Engineer)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Local Site Support Engineer (Level 1) to provide on‑site IT assistance across our office locations. The role ensures end‑user devices and office infrastructure run smoothly while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals on Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and operating‑system issues; replace faulty equipment with temporary units.
• Install, configure and test network equipment (switches, routers, wireless access points) and support LAN, Wi‑Fi, voice, printing and firewall/NAC/DNS services.
• Assist with PABX systems, AV equipment, digital signage, smart sensors and smart metering solutions.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, perform asset audits, manage warranty repairs and secure data wiping.
• Support office moves, equipment relocations and IT deployment projects.
• Document incidents, resolutions and support audit activities, including SOX compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Level 1 IT or desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and office infrastructure.
