Lead Technician, Maintenance, PE

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Technician, Maintenance to support the PE production team in Qingyuan. You will ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of key production equipment through hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and preventive maintenance, while also supporting new‑site start‑up and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily troubleshooting, inspection and maintenance of production equipment.
• Conduct routine patrols of critical systems such as ACM machines, agitators, pumps, fans, valves, homogenizers, packaging and compounding equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans and corrective work orders, ensuring accurate records.
• Support Qingyuan site commissioning, trial runs, ramp‑up and stabilization with technical assistance.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and permit‑to‑work requirements.
• Drive reliability, 5S practices and continuous improvement in equipment reliability, process safety and product quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in fine‑chemical, food, pharmaceutical, fragrance or similar process manufacturing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with mechanical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, fans, agitators, valves, packaging/compounding and utility systems.
• High safety awareness and ability to follow EHS, quality, SOPs and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production, engineering, EHS, quality and external contractors.
• Basic English proficiency for reading equipment manuals; LV electrician certification is a plus.
